The question of building muscle quickly seems to come up all the time, based in part by our “get it now mentality”. 1. Nutrition

The most effective way to get the right amount of protein with the correct amino acid combination is to use a high quality protein supplement. if you are eating lots of fish and chicken this doesn't insure that you are getting the correct amount of the right amino acids necessary for muscle growth. You must increase the amount of fruits and vegetables that you eat everyday. Vegetables are easily assimilated and provide many of the important amino acids.
3. Using free weights
Working out with free weights is the best way to help you build muscle quickly. The amount of stress you place on your muscles is directly proportional to the size of your muscles. To compensate for the extra weight being lifted your body and muscles will be forced to grow out of necessity. You can build your overall musculature by adding free weights to your program because you are using the smaller muscles that help you to balance the weight you are lifting.
4. Weight Training Without Using Weights
Working out by just using your own body weight is a great addition to any weightlifting program. Once again you are bringing into play the ancillary muscle groups, which are helping perform each particular movement. Make sure to include push ups, pull ups and leg raises to add extra strength and muscle growth. This exercise regime will help give you great definition, endurance and strength.
5. Rest and Plenty of it
Please understand that you don't get bigger while you are working out. When you're resting is when your muscles grow. You must not over train and you must get plenty of rest. Weight lifting breaks down our muscles at the cellular level and in order to repair and grow larger these cells must have adequate rest and the proper nutrition.
