Most men today dream of getting that perfect six pack stomach. However most do not know the correct way to quickly get defined abs.

Most people who try to get six pack abs think that by doing lots and lost of abdominal exercises like sit ups is the way to go. This is completely incorrect. Working out is also essential for weight loss. Focus on exercises that increase your metabolic rate. Try to do a full body workout as these generally result in greater fat loss. Forget about ab exercises. While they may help with strengthening your abdominal muscles, they will not help much with the fat that is covering them up.

While you may have heard that doing cardiovascular exercise is best for weight loss this is not entirely true. Working out your whole body will often burn more calories than cardio and also builds muscle which burns even more, even when you rest.
